How does it work and where might you fit in?
During 2026-27 I am training to be a coach with Co-Active Training Institute. As part of my coaching training I need some clients to work with. If you have been wondering about what’s next, you’re thinking of stepping into something new and feel the need of a little push to make the leap, or want to grow in confidence where you are at the moment I would love to speak with you about partnering together to help that happen.
But what’s the catch? Isn’t it going to be super-pricey?
Cost is negotiable, ranging from a low of £25 per hour for individuals who are out of work or in training to £50 for those in work and £100 for companies or larger groups. If you or your organisation cannot afford these rates please don’t let that put you off. We can discuss it and I will make it work.
I will meet you online unless we can make something else work that suits better.
Who am I and what do I bring to this?
I am writing this in the autumn of 2026. In my working life I am Diocesan Director of Ordinands for Peterborough Diocese. This is an incredible role supporting people as they explore calling and what they are being drawn towards in life, faith and ministry in the Church of England. Within it, the balance between faith and what appears to be reality are often in some kind of two-sides-of-the-same-coin tension. I love seeing people come to a knowledge of who they are, who they are being invited to be and the beauty of knowing firm foundations, safety and confidence.
Away from ‘work’ in my chaplaincy role at Northampton Town FC I work with players, staff, supporters, directors, and the wider community to listen, support, encourage, equip and challenge. Football is an equal parts exciting and vulnerable industry. Things are changing all the time, based on one choice, one decision or even one tackle or one decision from an official. The players I have known are in the vast majority of cases great people but they do not have the support around them that will enable consistent elite performance or even, dare I say it, happiness and contentment. After 9 years of chaplaincy work I feel experienced and knowledgeable about how to get alongside players and have a growing sense that I have something specific and helpful to offer to them.
I have been in ministry for 17 years. Before and during that time listening to people, getting alongside them in good times and bad and encouraging and equipping people for next steps forward has been a real passion for me. I have seen that people need time, listening, nurture and the space to come to conclusions and to take the right next steps at the right pace. To try and get better at this I am undertaking training with Co-Active Training Institute which I am really enjoying. I’m beginning a course called Deepen the Work in September 2026 and am aiming to complete Accreditation as a coach in the months ahead.
Thank you
As this is going to help me get better in my work and I hope overall in my life too please know that I am extremely grateful to you for considering working with me. I hope to create a relaxed and calm space and environment for you to be yourself in and to help you get to the root of what is going on within you and what the steps towards your dreamed of or hoped for reality could be. I’m excited to hear from you.
